Prof. Dr. H. Eman Suparman, S.H., M.H. is a Professor of the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University in the fields of Civil Procedural Law and Civil Law. In 2010 to 2013 he served as Chair of the Indonesian Judicial Commission. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Faculty of Law, Padidjaran University in 1982, then completed his Masters in Law at the Postgraduate Faculty of Gajah Mada University in 1988. He obtained his doctorate in Law at Diponegoro University in 2004. In 1990-1991 Prof. Dr H. Eman participated in the “Sandwich Program” for research and comparative studies in the field of Dispute Resolution Law and Arbitration Law at Rijksuniversiteit Leiden, The Netherlands.
Since 1983 he has dedicated himself as a lecturer at the Faculty of Law, Padjadjaran University. For 5 (five) years from 2004 to 2009, Prof. Dr H. Eman was assigned by the Directorate General of Higher Education KEMENDIKBUD to become a Detasering Lecturer at Trunojoyo Madura University, Syiah Kuala University Banda Aceh, Sultan Ageng Tirtayasa University Banten, and Mataram 45 University, NTB. His expertise in the fields of Civil Procedural Law and Civil Law led him to be trusted as the Head of Judicial Behavior Monitoring and Investigation of the Indonesian Judicial Commission in 2013-2015. Since 2016 he has been active as Dean of the Faculty of Law, Indonesian Computer University in Bandung. Prof. Dr H. Eman is a member of the Indonesian Professors Association (API).
