Prof. Dr. Veronica Komalawati, S.H., M.H. is a professor of Legal Sciences, Universitas Padjadjaran. Previously Prof. Dr. Veronica obtained a bachelor’s degree at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjadjaran majoring in Civil Law. After graduating in 1979, she took a master’s degree at Gadjah Mada University. Not until there, Prof. Dr. Veronica took a doctoral program at Gadjah Mada University in 1997. Prof. Dr. Veronica gave many views and thoughts in the field of Civil Law, Health Law, and Commercial Contract Law. Her writings have been published in various journals at the national and international levels as well as books. In addition to being active as a teacher and researcher, she is the administrator of the Indonesian Health Law Association (PERHUKI) of West Java Region, secretary of the Research Ethics Committee of the Medical Committee of Hasan Sadikin Hospital, a member of the Human Rights Committee (PAHAM) UNPAD, a member of the Expert Team of the LP-UNPAD Health Research Center, a member of the Expert Team of the West Java Child Protection Institute, the head of the LP-UNPAD Legal Development and Social Dynamics Research Center, Expert Staff of the Division of Services to the Community at LPM UNPAD, and members of the National Commission on Health Research Ethics of the Health Development Research Agency of the Ministry of Health.
