The documentary film 12 Mile: Guiding the Archipelago steps onto the international stage through a screening roadshow across three cities in Australia: Canberra (May 16, 2026), Sydney (May 18, 2026), and Melbourne (May 19, 2026). The screening in Canberra was part of The 2nd Indonesian Film Festival 2026, introducing the story of Indonesian diplomacy to the international community, academics, and the Indonesian youth abroad.
This roadshow also features panel discussions with R. Achmad Gusman Catur Siswandi (Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Padjadjaran), Prof. Dave Peebles (Director of Australia Pacific Security College, ANU), Aristyo Rizka Darmawan (PhD Scholar, School of Regulation and Global Governance, ANU), and Prof. Tim Stephens (Professor of International Law, The University of Sydney Law School).
This discussion will reflect on how knowledge, international law, leadership, and diplomacy can shape a nation's sovereignty, while reviewing the relevance of Prof. Dr. Mochtar Kusumaatmadja's legacy of thought in analyzing today's regional and global challenges.
